1. Common Cause Of Back Pain
The common causes for lower back pain things like minor injuries, like a slip and fall injury or a repetitive injury such as sitting too long or for long period of time at work or at home.
Major traumas would be like sports injury or work accidents or auto accidents. Any of those can result in nerve pressure, pinching of the nerve or joint pressure which would be like a sprain or strain causing inflammation in the joint.
The other thing that can happen with those traumas would be disc pressure which can result in bulging of the disc or herniation of the disc.

2. How Chiropractic Adjustments Relieve Back Pain?
How do chiropractic adjustments relieve lower back pain? Aligning the spine correctly will decrease your joint wear and tear and joint pressure.
We also make sure that the vertebrae are level on the disc decreasing your disc pressure and decreasing your chances for disc herniation and bulging.

3. Therapies to Relieve Back Pain
Some other therapies that we use in our office to relieve back pain would include ultrasound therapy. Ultrasound helps decrease pressure in the joint, decrease the inflammation in the joint, and the scar tissue surrounding the joint.
In addition to that we can use electric muscle stimulation and massage therapy. This will help in decreasing scar tissue formation. Electrical muscle stimulation helps increase blood flow to those muscles that have been injured.
We also use traction therapy which will help decrease the pressure on the disc therefore relieving the pain in associated with disc herniation and disc bulging in the lumber spine.

4. Tips to Relieve Back Pain when Sleeping
Ways to relieve back pain when you’re sleeping. If you’re going to lay on your side pull your knees up and put a pillow in between your knees.
If you’re going to lay on your back make sure you place pillows underneath your knees for support and have your knees bent a little bit. 5. Tips to Relieve Back Pain at Home
Tips to relieve your back pain at home. Definitely using ice especially recently after the injury or after you’re experiencing the pain. Use ice for 10 to 15 minutes approximately three times a day and make sure you leave it off a couple of hours in between because you want the tissue to get back in normal body temperature.
You can also do some light stretching as long as the stretching is not causing you any increasing pain or additional pain after you’re done stretching.

6. Can Back Pain Cause Bowel Problems?
Can back pain cause bowel problems? Certainly, if you have a disc herniation or disc bulge that’s hitting the nerve, cutting off the ability for that nerve to let your bowel function normally. Back pain can definitely interfere your ability to have a bowel movement.

8. Why Back Pain When Coughing or Sneezing?
Why do you have lower back pain when you cough or sneeze? When you cough or sneeze you’re increasing your spinal pressure which if you’re having a disc bulge in your back, it’ll make the bulge press more against the nerve and therefore you’re going to have an increase in lower back pain when you cough or sneeze.
9. Why Back Pain During Bowel Movement?
What causes lower back pain during bowel movements? When you have a bowel movement you’re increasing your spinal pressure which puts more pressure in your lower back and on your disc. If you have a disc bulge it’ll cause it to bulge more hitting the nerves therefore causing more pain when you’re having a bowel movement.
10. Difference Between Standing vs. Sitting Back Pain?
What’s the difference in lower back pain caused from standing versus sitting? Standing lower back pain is generally caused by the facet joints in the back whereas when you’re sitting you’re putting more pressure on the disc. So, that’s the difference from sitting vs. standing back pain.
11. Is Water-bed Bad for Back Pain?
Can a water-bed cause lower back problems? Generally, if your water-bed is not baffled it’s not good for your back and it can cause lower back problems. If it’s baffled that it will give you some support and that’s OK for your back.
12. Can Epidural Shot Cause Back Pain?
Can an epidural shot cause lower back pain? Yes, it can and the way it does is whatever you inject a needle through skin eventually when you pull the needle out the healing process starts and the micro adhesion’s can form and can pull and tug tissues. That’s how epidurals can cause back pain.
