1. Why I Became a Chiropractor

0 Meet Dr. Langschied

Why I became a Chiropractor? I became a Chiropractor when I was attending Indiana University.

I was actually working in an ice factory. We made a 300-pound carving blocks and one of them tried to fall on my and I strained my lower back.

I went through the medical doctor route and it just did not seem to help. And a friend of mine back home his dad was a chiropractor. So I went, saw him and in a matter of a couple of weeks he had me fixed up and I was feeling better.

That’s how I initially got intrigued with being a chiropractor and he actually wrote me a letter of recommendation and I went off to chiropractic school soon after that. And that’s how I got interested and eventually became a Chiropractor.

In addition to that we also help raise money for several local organizations. We’ve sponsored Red Cross blood drives and helped raise money for the J-town Area Ministries.

We’ve helped raise money for the Shamrock Foundation which is a foundation for sheltering animals for adoption.

We also give lectures and talks at the American Heart Association. We’re helping them set up the Wellness Program there as well.
